Mt. Joy World Tour 2026

From small music gigs to their own world tour, Mt. Joy will be honoring a full decade of creative juices producing indie rock hits. Recognized as one of the country’s most popular indie rock bands, Mt. Joy’s recognizable blend of Americana and powerful storytelling has truly set them apart in the music industry. Now, they’ve added nearly two dozen more dates on their World Tour next year, allowing them to sing to their fans in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK!

In 2016, former classmates Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper started the band that was initially a duo. Quinn was the vocalist and guitarist, and Cooper was also the guitarist. The band naturally grew with more members, having Michael Byrnes, Sotiris Eliopoulos, and Jackie Miclau. The name Mt. Joy was in honor of the mountain in Valley Forge National Park, which was near Cooper’s home. What started as a reunion between two high school friends has become a way for the musicians to perform at the biggest festivals in the country. They have been heard by the large audiences of Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, and Made In America. They have also shared the stage with other remarkable bands, such as The Head and The Heart, The Shins, and Whitney. With four albums in their incredible discography, they have made listeners all over the world enter a new world in Mt. Joy in 2018, Rearrange Us in 2020, Orange Blood in 2022, and their newest album, Hope We Have Fun, was released this year. On Spotify, five million listeners enjoy their inspired music every month. For the five-piece band, the first decade was just the beginning.
